EPC

What is an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)?

All domestic and commercial buildings in the UK available to buy or rent must have an Energy Performance Certificate.

An EPC can also be utilised to identify alternative methods to improve the energy efficiency of a premise and can also support long term cost saving methods.

What is included within an EPC assessment?

A qualified and accredited energy assessor visits your premises to undertake the EPC assessment.

The assessor will compile notes on a wide variety of items including but not exhaustive, size of building, construction material, insulation properties, lighting, heating and ventilation etc.

An EPC report is presented on completion of the assessment process which is then also submitted for registration on to the EPC register.
